In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.
When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession — to the praise of His glory.
✦ The Seal That Cannot Be Broken
A deposit. A guarantee. Not a promise that might be kept — a down payment already made. The Holy Spirit in the soul is God's earnest money. The transaction is not pending. It is in progress. The inheritance is secured — and the seal cannot be broken.
In a testing season — packing, stress, the weight of transition — Paul reminds Le who she is. Chosen. Predestined. Sealed. The testing does not change who you are. You are God's possession — and the deposit has already been made. 🙏
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.
That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead.
✦ The Eyes of the Heart
Paul prays for the same thing Guyon taught for thirty-four days: seeing with the interior eye. The enlightened heart. The light in His light. The single eye that sees only God.
That you may know Him better. Not know about Him. Know Him. The Theology of Experience. The reality Le named: not a dream, not a fantasy — a real relationship.
And the power Paul describes is the same power that raised Christ from the dead. Resurrection power — available to those who believe. In a testing season, this is not a small comfort. The power working in Le is the power that opened a tomb. 🙏
Our days have been stressful lately. It is a testing season. Deep inside there is a joy, because the testing is actually good for us. You can't graduate without passing the test.
Ephesians reminds us who we are. Paul's revelations came under great testing as well, and nothing comforts best than the Word of God. 🙏
✦ The Good Test
James 1:2–3 — count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. The joy is not despite the test. The joy is because of what the test produces.
Paul wrote Ephesians from a prison cell. His revelations came under great testing. And from inside that testing, he wrote: I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened. Not from a comfortable study. From a cell. The comfort of the Word is strongest when it comes from someone who needed that same comfort — and found it sufficient.
Ephesians reminds us who we are. Chosen. Predestined. Sealed. In a testing season, identity is the anchor. Ephesians says: God's possession. The seal unbroken. The deposit made. The inheritance guaranteed. The test does not define you. The seal does. 🙏
"You can't graduate without passing the test."
Le · Deep inside there is a joy · Because the testing is goodSealed
Marked with the Holy Spirit — a deposit guaranteeing the inheritance. Not a promise pending. A down payment made. The testing does not change who you are.
Eyes of the Heart
Paul's prayer: enlightened interior sight. That you may know Him — not about Him. Resurrection power available to those who believe.
The Good Test
You can't graduate without passing it. Deep inside, joy — because the testing produces. Paul wrote from a cell. The Word comforts best because it was forged in testing.
A new voice after thirty-four days of Guyon. Paul speaks from Ephesians — and Le turns to him in a testing season.
Guyon to Paul — the same interior: Guyon mapped the interior way. Paul prays for the eyes of the heart to be enlightened. The same interior. The same seeing. Three voices — Guyon, Paul, David — one truth.
The seal and the stripping: Guyon taught the stripping — the soul despoiled, reduced to nothing. Paul teaches the sealing — marked, guaranteed, deposited. Both are true at the same time. The poverty and the riches are not contradictions. They are the same state seen from two angles.
Le's testing season: Packing. Moving. September on the horizon. France ahead. And in the middle of it all — Le opens Ephesians and finds comfort. The packing boxes are temporary. The seal is eternal. And the power working in the middle of the stress is the same power that raised Christ from the dead. That is enough for any testing season. 🙏
