God never called an angel My Son. Not Michael. Not Gabriel. Not the highest seraph. The title is exclusive. The relationship is unique. Two Old Testament quotations — Psalm 2:7 and 2 Samuel 7:14 — one from a coronation, one from a covenant. Both point to the same truth: the Son holds a position no angel has ever occupied. The angels serve. The Son reigns.

Angels → spirits. What angels are — spiritual beings, created, assigned, sent.
His servants → flames of fire. What those who serve the Lord become — ignited, burning, set on fire by the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2 confirms it. When the Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost, what appeared? Tongues of fire — resting on the servants, not on angels. Romans 12:11: fervent in spirit, serving the Lord — the Greek zeο means literally boiling, burning. The servant who burns with holy fire is not merely functioning. She is on fire. The morning devotion is the ignition. The flame carries into the day.
"Angels are not flames of fire. His servants are — those that serve the Lord. We are flames indeed, and our flame can spread."
The lampstand. Fire is contagious — one flame lights another. That is what the journal does. That is what the mornings do. The flame lit at midnight in Lubbock has spread through fifty-one entries, through Bowen and Guyon and Baker and Fénelon, through Portugal and Spain and now into France. The servant who burns will set others burning.
